This track came as a bit of a surprise amongst the very eclectic PORTALS Mixtape reviewed earlier in the week. ”In Dreams” has been described as a “dark 4 chord progression,” but I don’t know if “introverted vocal hooks,” as also described really encapsulates what a lush melody this is. Simple yet haunting, “In Dreams,” is repetitive in all the right places…
